This bedroom I designed for Habitat for Humanity is very simple but still has pops of colors that provide rhythm and emphasis throughout the entire room. We incorporated a walk-in closet to provide more space for the clients clothes and give it more of a feeling of a master bedroom. We included two windows into this room to bring in more natural light and reduce the electrical cost during the day. One window is higher so you can still have a headboard on the bed but still allows light into the room. This room is ADA accessible and has an ADA bathroom attached.
This kitchen was designed with ADA accessibility given that we were working with a limited amount of space.    It was a challenge to incorporate a place for the family to eat their meals yet we managed to design a nook with booth seating in the corner as well as bar seating on the island. We chose to use a light bamboo flooring because we felt the color gave the room a more open and fresh feeling as well as adding to the sustainability factor of the home. There is plenty of built-in storage for cookbooks along with a built-in desk for the family. This living room was designed with storage in mind. With the limited square footage restraints, built in storage was a must in every area that we could incorporate it. The ceiling in the entry was is 15 feet to give an inviting feeling into the rest of the home. In the great room, the ceiling is dropped to 12 feet. The focus wall has plenty of storage cabinets and display shelves with a large area for a television or a piece of art. There is  a half wall that separates the entry from the great room which has a bench for people to tie their shoes as well as storage underneath. On the east facing side of the great room, we have a window seat with bay windows which will allow for extra seating as well as plenty of light to shine through to the rest of the room. This room has accents of green and violet which relate to the colors of the Palouse and contrast with the light bamboo floors, yet do not overpower the simplicity of the entire design.
