After we went to the Steam Plant for the tour, we walked over to the Davenport Hotel to look at the interior of it. It was my first time in there and I was astonished by all the detail put into the building. All the different ballrooms are decorated elaborately and are all different from one another. 

This picture is from one of the ballrooms in the hotel. The walls with the arches were actually lifted in by a crane when they were redoing the hotel. The paintings on the ceilings made you feel like you were in Italy or Paris looking at a fresco on a the ceiling. Every inch of the space was covered in intricate detail.

This is the second floor hallway that overlooks the lobby downstairs. Each pillar had detail at the top and the ceiling was carved wood and painted.
