The Oahu Country Club is beautiful on a clear or semi cloudy day. The private club is nestled in the hills off the Pali Highway. On this day, the hills, trees, greens and city view were spectacular. One of those days when you simply say "lucky to live Hawaii". The club features a casual restaurant for breakfast, lunch and pupu's and fine dining upstairs in the evening. The Grille menu can be ordered inside around the bar or outside on the patio. The patio is my choice with views of the course and Honolulu. I ordered the Lobster Roll. Nice sandwich served with salad and a pickle. The BBQ Brisket Sandwich was awesome. Smoky beef with a tangy bbq sauce. The Fish Tacos were actually pretty good. Great light tortilla with battered fish and a light slaw. Great place to spend a relaxing hour having lunch with family and friends.
